120 HENDON SQUADRON

Royal Air Force Air Cadets
Parade nights: Tuesday and Friday 19.30 - 21.45

Welcome!

As cadets in the Air Training Corps we have a wide range of activities available to us to participate in. These range from flying at 1000 ft in the air, testing your limits in adventure training activities and learning to save someones life in First Aid courses. We learn how to be more disciplined and how to function as a uniformed organisation. 120 Squadrons motto is 'Endeavour' which means adventure beyond. We like to embody this motto as it reflects what we do as 120 Squadron cadets and as Air Cadets as a whole.

The ACO (Air Cadet Organisation) has 2 sections of which ATC is one part, the other is CCF (Combined Cadet Force) (made up of cadets from all three services i.e. Army, Sea and Air, coming together).

 The ATC aim is to:

-Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
-Provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.
-Encourage the spirit of adventure, develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
