Name: Flight Lieutenant Anthony Fernandes

Position: Officer Commanding


Profile: Flight Lieutenant Fernandes first joined 120 Squadron as a cadet in 2007 progressing to the rank of Flight Sergeant before aging out. Afterwards he joined as a Civilian Instructor eager to help future generations of cadets get the most out of the Corps. His passion for helping cadets reach their full potential and the ATC meant that it was only logical that he progress his own career.

Name: Mr D.J. Coleman

Position: Civilian Instructor

                                                       

Profile: CI David Coleman, was a CCF cadet in his mid-teens. He is particularly interested in history, politics and current affairs. This staff member has some experience with Public Speaking and team work and aims to pass on these essential life-skills to the cadets. CI Coleman will be responsible for Training in the near future.

Name: Mr Chris Bishop

Position: Civilian Instructor

 

Profile: As a former cadet Sergeant at 120 Hendon, I have always had a passion for flying and engineering. I am currently undertaking a degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a minor in Pilot Studies.

Coming back as a Civilian Instructor, specialising in Adventure Training and Sports, organising opportunities and helping the cadets to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Award. With the knowledge I have learnt studying my degree at university and training for my Private Pilots Licence I will be actively helping the cadets with their academic studies to achieve their BTEC in Aviation Studies.

 

 

Name: Mr Adam Johnson-Zammit

Position: Civilian Instructor, DofE Leader


Profile: I joined the ATC as a cadet in 2000 and rose to the rank of Corporal. Best achievements were gaining my Solo Gliding Scholarship and being awarded the Cadet and Sportsman of the year.

In 2015 I was presented the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award at St James' Palace by the Duke of Edinburgh himself having fulfilled the required sections.

Returning as a CI to 120 Hendon, I am now DofE Leader as well as Adventure Training co-coordinator and Activity First Aid qualified.

Name: Ms Jasleen Kalsi

Position: Civilian Instructor


Profile: I was previously a cadet at 342 squadron for 4 and a half years and achieved the rank of Cadet Warrant Officer. I enjoyed cadets very much in particular shooting and flying. I joined 120 squadron in September of 2016. I am currently attending university reading Law. I am the training officer responsible ensuring cadets are gaining the most of the opportunities the Air Training Corps has on offer.

Name: Matt Davies

Position: Civilian Instructor


Profile: I was a former cadet from the west country and I achieved rank of Corporal before ageing out at the age of 20. I had fun being a cadet and so I joined 120 squadron and I have been serving the squadron for about 2 years now. Since cadets I have received the Liz Clarke. I have also done numerous readings at wing events.
